The past three days in Glasgow have been pretty good.
Two days ago we went to the Glasgow Transport Museum. Loads of motorbikes, cars, bicycles and other forms of transport. Well worth a look: http://www.glasgowlife.org.uk/museums/riverside/Pages/default.aspx
I managed to lose my brand new reading glasses..... Quite glad I took my old pair as well. Still a pain.... they weren't cheap :(
Yesterday was nice. Picked up a pair of hiking boots for wandering around the Lake District and Switzerland. Synthetic and Goretex lined - should be easy to break in. Then caught up with Theresa, one of my former SLC co-workers. Had Italian for lunch, then wandered around the City Center fore a couple of hours. The sun was out most of the afternoon... It was very pleasant. Unfortunately didn't catch up with Rob (my boss at SLC).
Today we (Liz, Jeanne, Jenna and I) are heading out to Pitlochry. Going to visit the 'Enchanted Forest'. This looks awesome :) http://www.enchantedforest.org.uk/. A drive around the country should also be good :)
We hires a little diesel Vauxhall (Holden for those back home) Astra. I have not stalled a car so many times in ages!!!
Looks like another lovely day, so I will leave it here.
